Canadian Silver Dollars (pre-1967)
 

Heya,

I'm on the hunt for pre-1967 CDN silver dollars but I'm finding on eBay.ca and through various CDN dealers that ungraded rolls are going for the same or more than new sealed silver maples.

Is anyone familiar with the CDN silver dollar market? Any hints on typical prices to spot silver? I'd prefer to go through eBay or some other method of private sale as 80% silver attracts GST (which really makes no bloody sense as silver dollars are still legal tender). For the same reason, I'm reluctant to order from a US dealer as the shipment would attract GST and duties.

Thanks for the link! Looks promising as Tacoma is only ~3 hours away. I'll have to figure out if with exchange, taxes and duties are these comparable prices.
